El Salvador

WNDRFL heads to the wild coastlines of Central America to host an intimate gathering in El Zonte, El Salvador—a town known not just for its surf, but for the quiet power that lives in its land and sea. El Salvador’s Pacific coast is home to some of the most reliable and revered point breaks on Earth. The swell arrives with a calm certainty, forming long, elegant waves that make this stretch of coastline a sanctuary for surfers of all levels. Our home will be Wave House, a modernist compound on the ocean’s edge designed for those who move between worlds. With generous, oceanfront residences, a thoughtful approach to hospitality, and direct access to the sea, Wave House offers both beauty and belonging. Over the course of several days, we will surf, gather, break bed, detox from our digital worlds, and settle into the rhythm of the tides. We will enjoy Fireside conversations, talk about our days in the sea, beyond just the incredible surf, and the slow unfolding of presence.

WNDRFL | Rock for Resilience

Jun 28, 2025

Los Angeles, USA

WNDRFL returns to Los Angeles, the city where its founders’ journey began — to close out Rock for Resilience with a live, multisensory performance titled The Overview Effect. Inspired by the phenomenon experienced by astronauts when viewing Earth from space, The Overview Effect invites audiences into a state of expanded awareness — one shaped by sound, light, and presence. Through layered music, visual art, and an immersive environment, the performance becomes a container for awe, unity, and emotional resonance. Los Angeles holds deep roots for WNDRFL’s story. It is where lifelong friendships were formed, where careers in music, design, and cultural experience first took shape, and where the early seeds of Habitas were planted. Invited by longtime friend and Los Angeles Fire Brigade board member David Hertz, the team returns to a place that gave them so much, offering something back in the form of ritual, reflection, and shared energy. Set against the backdrop of a festival built on resilience, community, and creativity, The Overview Effect is not just a finale, it is a moment of stillness, perspective, and possibility. A chance to look inward, look outward, and look again. A closing note with no ending, only expansion.
